Remodeling in Wimberley

A river town, remodeled from anywhere

Wimberley sits where Cypress Creek meets the Blanco, 40 miles southwest of Austin: an artists' town with swimming holes, cypress-lined riverfront, and hilltop acreage with long Hill Country views. The homes range from in-town cottages to $1M–$2M+ river and acreage properties, and a meaningful share belong to owners whose weekday life is in Austin, Houston, or San Antonio. Remodeling here means Hill Country site conditions and, for many clients, running a project from a distance.

River and creek frontage

The best lots live close to the water, which brings floodplain awareness and materials chosen for humidity and shade, settled in design.

Acreage systems

Wells, septic, rainwater. Outside city limits there is little zoning, so the real constraints come from the land: water, wastewater, access, slope.

The weekend-home reality

Second homes deserve first-rate process. Scope, materials, and schedule get settled completely before work starts, because you will not be there to referee.

A River Town

A river town asks more of a house

Wimberley homes live close to the water: cypress shade, spring-fed humidity, and a river that rises fast. We design for the way this place actually behaves, in every season.

Swim-hole season. Screened porches and shaded outdoor rooms are built to face the water and hold up to it.

High summer on the Blanco: green water, limestone bank, cypress shade, a screened porch or deck in frame
Our Services

What we build in Wimberley

Wimberley projects turn good properties into complete ones: interiors brought current, outdoor rooms facing the water or the view, guest quarters for the people these homes exist to gather.

How We Build

Better materials, by default

River shade and Hill Country humidity are the design constraints here. Mold-resistant assemblies, real ventilation, and materials that handle damp air come standard, specified before demo.

Our Design Process
Renderings, selections, and a fixed price in 2–4 weeks.
Mold-Resistant Construction
Built for Austin's humid climate.
Non-Toxic Materials
Chosen for the air you breathe.
Our Process

The same process, everywhere we build

  1. 1

    Design before demo

Layout, selections, engineering, and price are settled in the design phase. Construction starts with nothing left to decide.

  2. 2

    A schedule you approve

You approve the full construction schedule before demo day, and every daily report measures against it.

  3. 3

    Daily logs in your portal

Photos and a written update every working day, from wherever you are.

Every Project, Every Time

The Enso Standard

Six things we do on every project

1.Priced From Data, Not Instinct

National cost data, tuned for Central Texas, spelled out line by line, with our profit shown right on the estimate. The price is what the data says, not what we think you'll pay.

2.A Schedule You Approve Before Demo

Every phase, trade, and milestone in a Gantt chart, signed off by you before demo begins. Contractors who run late don't put schedules in writing. We do.

3.Selections Settled in Design

Every material, fixture, and finish is chosen during design, when there's time to think. Construction starts with a complete plan, not a running list of open decisions.

4.A Job Site That Respects Your Home

A sealed dust barrier goes up between the work zone and the rest of your home, with HEPA filtration running from day one. Designated disposal bins, no food on site, no trash left behind.

5.Daily Logs in Your Client Portal

Photos and a written update every working day, plus a weekly walkthrough with your project lead (in person or on video). You never chase us for an update.

6.The Final 10% Waits for You

We don't bill the final payment until the punch list is complete and you've signed off. Three months later, we're back to make sure everything works the way it should. All of it carries a one-year craftsmanship warranty.
